Desarticulada Una Banda Organizada Que Cultivaba Hachís En Vargas Para Enviarlo A Italia En Paquetes Postales

La Guardia Civil y la Agencia Tributaria han desarticulado una banda que enviaba droga a Italia a través de paquetes postales y ha detenido a cuatro personas acusadas de tráfico de estupefacientes, pertenencia a grupo criminal, falsedad documental y blanqueo de capitales.
La operación policial, denominada Tenete, se realizó bajo el amparo y autorización del Juzgado de Instrucción número 1 de Telde, realizándose cuatro entradas y registros en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, que culminaron con la detención de los cuatro implicados, además de una inspección de una finca en el barrio agüimense de Vargas.
Las actuaciones se iniciaron el pasado día 19 de junio cuando fue interceptado un paquete en el Aeropuerto de Gran Canaria con destino a Italia, en cuyo interior se alojaban unos 500 gramos de una sustancia que dio positivo a hachís en el tes de drogas oficial.
Ante estos hechos, la Guardia Civil y Vigilancia Aduanera iniciaron una investigación conjunta para el esclarecimiento de los hechos, interceptando en el transcurso de la operación, entre los meses de junio y julio, otros catorce paquetes en Gran Canaria y dos más en Barcelona, arrojando un total de 8 kilogramos de hachís.
La frecuencia de los envíos hizo que los agentes buscaran, además de a los presuntos miembros de la banda, la plantación de marihuana en la isla, así como el lugar utilizado para la elaboración de las sustancias y los paquetes.
Una vez identificados los componentes de la organización, así como sus roles en la misma, el pasado día 30 de julio, la Guardia Civil y Vigilancia Aduanera establecieron un dispositivo policial para las detenciones y los registros de tres domicilios y una asociación cannábica en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y un finca en Vargas, donde se encontró la plantación.
Durante el dispositivo referido, los investigadores contaron con la presencia de la Policía Local de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, que apoyaron las actuaciones con patrullas de seguridad ciudadana, unidades de intervención (G.O.I.A.) y guías caninos, además de las propias de la Guardia Civil en este tipo de servicios (Núcleo de Reserva y Cinológico).
Durante el dispositivo se detuvieron a cuatro personas, de los que dos ingresaron en prisión por orden del Juzgado de Primera Instancia e Instrucción número 1 de Telde, y se intervino documentación, material diverso, dinero, vehículos y unos 15 kilogramos de marihuana, 1,5 kilogramos de hachís y 200 plantas de la cannabis sativa.
